Who are we?

Eequinox was founded by four partners sharing the same vision of engineering with extensive experience in energy efficiency projects.
Joining this group of associates is a seasoned team with strong technical knowledge and proven experience in efficient mechanical designs, particularly in chilled water networks, heat recovery systems, low temperature heating networks, district energy networks and innovative solutions to reduce a building’s energy consumption.

Approach

In the case of energy efficiency and GHG reduction projects in existing buildings, Eequinox strives, where possible, to reorganize and optimize existing systems and equipment rather than simply replacing them with new, more efficient systems and equipment. This approach is in line with the company’s values, which advocate the modernization of the existing mechanical infrastructure of buildings at the expense of consumption and investment in new equipment. This method optimizes costs and maximizes the project’s profitability.
Although it requires the assimilation of all the subtleties and constraints inherent in each building, this approach allows Eequinox’s technical team to remain extremely versatile with all principles, equipment and technologies, whether new or existing, in the field of building mechanics. Moreover, this acquired experience as well as the innovative principles developed in the realization of energy efficiency projects in existing buildings are used in the design of new buildings or new mechanical systems.

Mission

Eequinox was founded with the goal of providing a stimulating and creative work environment to enable the generation of innovative measures that reduce the energy consumption, capital investment and carbon footprint of new and existing buildings.

Values

Eequinox strives to offer projects that respect the environment while meeting the expectations, budget and specific needs of clients. Eequinox is also committed to leaving a positive mark on the community by supporting volunteering in associations related to energy efficiency and promoting the local green economy.
